The Crowe Valley Source Protection Area is ~ 2006 sq km with Beaver Creek, Crowe River and North River flowing through the area. The largest settlements include Marmora, Havelock, Cardiff, and Coe Hill.
There are three municipal well systems and one municipal surface water supply.
